Ngô Trà My hoạt động trong nhiều lĩnh vực: giảng dạy, biểu diễn, nghiên cứu âm nhạc truyền thống, đương đại và thể nghiệm. Cô đã từng tham gia rất nhiều các chương trình biểu diễn nghệ thuật trong nước và quốc tế. Hiện Trà My là giảng viên của Học viện Âm nhạc Quốc gia Việt Nam, ủy viên hội đồng nghệ thuật và thành viên của Dàn nhạc Truyền thống Châu Á, cố vấn âm nhạc của
C asean Consonant, thành viên nhóm nhạc thể nghiệm quốc tế The Six Tones, nhóm nhạc dân tộc Thăng Long, nhóm nhạc mới MMTM.
➡️ Nghệ sĩ Violin MATS EDÉN
Mats Edén, sinh năm 1957 tại mảnh đất âm nhạc dân gian trù phú của vùng Värmland (Thuỵ Điển). Ông từng học Sáng tác tại Học viện Âm nhạc Na Uy ở Oslo vào thập niên 1980, dưới sự hướng dẫn của Lasse Thoresen và Olav Anton Thommessen.
Âm nhạc của Mats trải dài trên nhiều thể loại, từ tiên phong đến truyền thống. Ông cũng là một nghệ sĩ đàn phím melodeon kỳ cựu, từng được trao danh hiệu danh giá "Riksspelman" (nhạc sĩ bậc thầy). Năm 2019, Mats nhận huy hiệu Zorn vàng danh tiếng – phần thưởng dành cho các nghệ sĩ và người gìn giữ truyền thống xuất sắc. Phong cách chơi đàn fiddle của ông vừa thanh thoát vừa gai góc, mang sắc thái hòa quyện giữa âm thanh vùng Värmland và âm hưởng Na Uy.
Từ năm 1981, Mats là thành viên của nhóm nhạc dân gian Thụy Điển danh tiếng Groupa. Album solo thứ ba của ông mang tên Milvus (cùng Jonas Simonson) được hãng đĩa ECM phát hành. Ông hiện là giáo sư chuyên ngành âm nhạc dân gian tại Học viện Âm nhạc Malmö. Mats là thành viên của Viện Hàn lâm Âm nhạc Hoàng gia Thụy Điển, Hội Nhà soạn nhạc Thụy Điển, STIM và SKAP.

At ‘Between the Strings’, Vietnamese folk music and Swedish folk tunes will rise together through the sounds of the monochord (đàn Bầu) and the violin. This East-West fusion conjures a vibrant canvas of sound — at once strange and familiar, interlaced yet solitary, distant yet intimately bound. It is a call to drift, to wander to the realm of oblivion, to dance and celebrate in the farthest corner... For sound can do whatever it pleases.
️🎵 ABOUT THE ARTISTS
➡️ NGÔ TRÀ MY is Đàn Bầu lecture in Vietnam National Academy of Music. She is one of the famous Đàn Bầu soloists in Viet Nam. Her fields of activities are teaching, performing, and researching traditional, contemporary and experimental music. She has participated in many art events in Vietnam and around the world. Trà My is the Vietnamese representative Music Committee and a member of the Asia Traditional Orchestra, the advisor of the C aseanConsonant Ensemble member of The Six Tones international experimental music group, Thang Long traditional music group, MMTM new music group.
➡️ MATS EDÉN, born in 1957, has his roots in the rich soil of folk music from Värmland. He studied composition in Oslo in the 80ths at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo for Lasse Thoresen and Olav Anton Thommessen.
His music ranges from the avant-garde to the very traditional. He is a nationally recognized master of the melodeon. In 2019, Mats received the award "The prestigious Zorn badge in gold for extremely prominent musicians and tradition bearers”. His fiddle playing is both elegant and rough, with its own combination of Värmlandian and Norwegian sounds.
Mats has been a member of the acclaimed Swedish folk ensemble Groupa since its start in 1981 and has written a lot of the band's songs. His third solo album Milvus (with Jonas Simonson) was released on the ECM label.Mats is a professor in folk music at Malmö Academy of Music, where he teaches violin, music theory and ensemble. He is also a member of the Royal Academy of Music, Swedish Society of Composers, STIM and SKAP.
